I only want to buy one… now I’ve got a problem.
I headed to Holts with one goal: find my next shotgun. Simple enough… until I found fifteen that all made a compelling case for coming home with me.
From forgotten London best guns and hidden bargains to bizarre Victorian engineering and modern competition legends, every shotgun in this film is scored on two things:
Desire – How much do I actually want to own it?
Practicality – Would i use it and how much work will it need?
Some score brilliantly. Others fall apart under scrutiny. But by the end of the film, I’ll have to decide which one I’d actually spend my own money on…. Or maybe… more than one.
The only problem? This is a sealed bid auction. I don’t know what anyone else is bidding, they don’t know what I’m bidding, and the perfect bid is the one that’s just enough to win—but not a penny more. Get it wrong and you either lose the gun… or overpay for it.
