A bit of plinking with TriggerPullTV’s Elliott Grimshaw. I was using my Tikka T3 Lite in .243 with Hawke Sidewinder TAC 30 4-16×50, Harris bipod and the fantastic Wildcat Evolution sound moderator.
Elliott was using his Tikka T3 Varmint in .223, topped with a Vortex Viper PST. I couldn’t hit the Firebirds for love nor money, but I have to blame that on a bedding issue, I have now resolved. My POI was shifting up and down, and with variable winds, it made for too much of a challenge. I scared a lot of them.
