Shooting Bolton Ghyll on Castle Bolton Estate, part of our ‘Best Game Shoots in Britain’ series. Another beautiful part of North Yorkshire. I think we have some of the most breathtaking countryside in the world! It was a privilege to be able to come and shoot in the ancient grounds of Bolton Castle.
This medieval castle is over 600 years old and stands like a sheer cliff face with arrow slits and bears many historical scars. Invited by my good friend Tony Biker I could not wait to get under these magnificent pheasants. I am sure you will enjoy this almost prehistoric landscape that looks like it was carved out by the ice age.
